Kern River, CA - Spring 2020 - CANCELLED DUE TO COVID 19 🙁
The REALM had an Adventure Week planned in May. We were headed to Kern River to Ride the Rapids and camp, and have all sorts of fun. Well, it seems that that plan is not going to work out, which is not great, because it has been WAY TOO LONG since the days of kissing camels.
Don’t worry, we are not saying goodbye to Adventure Weeks, we are just going to skip over this adventure. That means, for those of you who have signed up, you can opt for either a credit to your account or a full refund.

We are looking forward to another fantastic Adventure Week October 2 – 5!! This time we’re heading to the Julian, CA and we’ll be staying at William Heise County Park. We’ll be visiting a gold mine and a camel dairy, apple-picking, learning about the history of the area, and even having a hoedown 🙂

Yosemite National Park - Fall 2016
Adventure Week is always so much fun! In October 2016, we were back at Housekeeping Camp in Yosemite for more amazing times. We enjoyed playing in the river (many brave souls even managed a game of Red Rover, swimming across the cold water – wow!), hiking, star-gazing, and of course, fun campfires!
In March 2016 we headed to camp amongst the redwoods at Huckleberry Campground in the Redwoods State Park. Our main focus of our journey was to satiate our curiosity about the natural surroundings and historical significance of the coastal California redwood environment. We also searched for the elusive banana slug that is said to roam the forests in the area!
